Acoustical ceiling tiles are attractive, effective, affordable and have excellent sound absorption properties. They eliminate unwanted ceiling boundary reflections, excessive room reverberation and echo between floor and ceiling surfaces. These tiles visually and audibly disappear by improving signal-to-noise ratio for listening, recording, and conversation. Made from fiberglass and finished with a crisp, matte black non-woven fabric. They are lightweight and easy to cut using a standard utility knife.One package of boards will cover 40 square feet. Designed to install into a standard drop ceiling grid or can be cut to fit into a custom ceiling grid tile space. Please note: Ceiling Tiles are not meant to uphold ceiling products such as recessed lighting. Install recessed lighting using the grid of the ceiling to support the weight of the lights, not the tiles themselves.
